Ciaté Haute House collection – Polishes for fall 2014

Så er der igen lækre nyheder fra Ciaté, i form af et af deres søde små huse med minineglelakker! Deres efterårskollektion hedder Haute House, og er et hus der består af fem smukke varme efterårsfarver. Farverne er fuldstændig fantastiske, og helt bestemt passende til efteråret og de koldere måneder.
Lakkerne bliver beskrevet som at have “rich ink formula”, og skulle give fuld dækning ved bare et lag.
Det lyder jo intet mindre end fantastisk ikke?
Jeg vil dog ikke sige, at alle lakkerne dækker ved et lag. Hvis man vil have en super intens farve, er man nødt til at lægge to lag af “For the frill of it” og “Sass pot”. Resten er one coatere, og det er lidt fedt. Hvem elsker ikke one coatere? 🙂

Yet again we have some lovely news from Ciaté in form of one of their cute small houses with mini nail polishes! Their fall collection is called Haute House, and it’s a house consisting of five beautiful warm fall polishes. The colors are absolutely fantastic and definitely fitting for fall and the colder months.
The polishes are described as having a “rich ink formula” meaning they are supposed to give full color opacity in one coat.
Now that sounds fantastic doesn’t it?
I wouldn’t say, that all the polishes are opaque in one coat. If you want full on intense color, you have to put two layers of “For the frill of it” and Sass pot”. The rest are one coaters, and that’s pretty cool. Who doesn’t love one coaters? 🙂

For the Frill of it: This is a gorgeous shimmer-y brown polish. It is described as being gold, but I wouldn’t call it that. It is definitely brown. This is the only one in the collection that has a duochrome effect, and it is gorgeous. I always love polishes like this more in the shadow, when you can truly see how stunning color shift they have. I tried to capture it as best as I could, but it was pretty difficult. It shifts from and orang-y red to a yellow-y gold, almost with some hints of green. Stunning! This one needed two coats.

Tickle my fancy: A lovely deep green shimmer polish. This one is almost leaning towards blue, or almost a dark teal. Definitely a beautiful color, and lots of shimmer! This is one coat.

Sass pot: A very dark purple color. Not one of my faves, but it is beautiful. It’s one of those colors that almost looks black on the nails, but in the sun, it’s easy to tell that it’s purple. This is two coats, as this polish is a bit thinner than the rest.

Can can: One of my favorites from the collection. A beautiful cranberry (?) color. It is absolutely gorgeous. This is another polish that also looks great in the shade. It becomes such a dark and beautiful color. Love it. Here I have on one coat.

Knee highs:This might not come as a surprise, but this is my favorite. It’s blue. And stunning. It’s like a mix of my favorite polish ever (Essie Aruba Blue, if you didn’t already know by now) and Essie Midnight cami. If they had a baby, this is it. I am so in love with this. It’s beautiful!

Also, great news! These polishes will be launched in full sized bottles, so if there’s one you really like, you can get a big bottle of it! That’s great! 😀
